Biografia
Born on 1984 in a small village on the Italian east coast I recently moved to Paris to assist French photographer Thomas Mailaender. Until last December I have been assisting Italian master photographer Guido Guidi in Cesena. After graduating in Industrial Design, I have been working at Politecnico di Milano University as Research Fellow for European research projects in the Department of Design and Industrial Engineering. In 2012 I graduated from the photography course at CFP Bauer in Milan and during 2016-2017 I have attended the Master in Photography at IUAV in Venice. In the meanwhile I go on attending workshops with inspiring photographers such as Jason Fulford, Anders Petersen, Antoine D’Agata, Jessica Backhaus and Erik Kessels. My projects have been exposed both in Italy (Centro Pecci in Prato, Fondazione Fabbri in Pieve di Soligo, FAST in Treviso, Spazio Tadini in Milano) and abroad (France: Arles and Paris). I been shortlisted in several international contests like the 2017 Lucie Foundation Scholarship, “Photo made” category, the Photogrvphy Grant Award 2017 Conceptual category and finalist of Fondazione Fabbri Award for Contemporary Photography in 2017. Recently I have been awarded a Residency program in San Fedele Gallery in Milan (Jan-June 18) and Sconfinamenti Residency to be held next July in the Alpi Marittime National Park, Cuneo (IT). My first Dummy has been nominated by Guido Guidi for Mack First Book award and it has been shortlisted at Kassel Dummy Award18
