Aischa Gianna Müller

Aischa Gianna Müller is an Italy based artist, she was born in 1984 in Germany but she grew up in southern Tuscany where she now often works in direct relation to ‘nature’. She holds a BFA in stage design, an MFA in Photography and as a student she worked several years in film studios.

Focus of her research is the increasing standardization and disconnection from natural elements, the failure of an anthropocentric attitude and the actual meaning of an artistic practice around the concept of landscape. Aischa began her artistic practice in 2017 questioning visual reproduction through lens based media and direct site-interventions. She creates minimalistic and conceptual works which are inspired by a wide range of experiences involving them in a disturbing process of transformation, misplacement and dysfunctioning ironic actions.
